MIDWEEK LENTEN SERVICES

Midweek Lenten services will begin on with Holy communion on Ash Wednesday, February 25 at 7:00 P.M. and will continue through Lent.

There will be a coffee fellowship time following the services.

Holy Communion Opportunities in January:

Tuesday, January 20, 1:30 p.m. Pleasant View Home

Annual Congregation Meeting - 
Sunday February 1, 2009
11:15 a.m. following the worship service

Agenda Includes:

Things to be voted on: 

  • Election of church council, auditors, nominating committee & assembly delegates.
  • Changes in the constitution regarding C11.01, C11.02, C12.01. The changes proposed are posted on the bulletin board.
  • Christmas Eve worship time.
  • Installation of sanctuary ceiling fans.
  • Adoption of 2009 budget. 

Items for discussion and information

  • Reports concerning 2008.
  • Purchasing the new Evangelical Lutheran Worship hymnals 
  • Plans for setting up an Endowment Fund for Our Saviors
  • Expectation of both financial secretary and treasurer to attend council meetings with right of voice
  • What to do regarding all the church pianos.

 

 

If you are a confirmed member of Our Savior’s it is your right and responsibility to attend. 

The LYO will be serving a noon lunch in the fellowship hall following the meeting.
